Whether part, full procurement or free issue is required all aspects of manufacturing can be carried out by SMA Electronics. Utilising years of experience gained at various CEM’s and OEM’s the SMA team are able to call upon their experience to ensure that your products are built to the exact specification required.

Inspection – To ensure compliance to IPC-A-610G class 3.

Utilising Inspection aids along with Speedplacer software the Inspection team are able to use their vast experience to ensure the criteria set out within the SMA Electronics quality procedures along with reviewed customer specifications is met.

Test – Functional, Boundary Scan, Safety Testing.

Customer defined and SMA/ Customer agreed procedures for all areas of test are carried out in-house or at the customer premises if required. SMA Electronics has fully qualified Engineers available to ensure that the products to be checked meet the specifications required.
SMA Electronics enjoys a close relationship with JTAG Technologies for our Boundary Scan Test solution for which DFT guidelines can be provided to customers at the crucial design concept stage.

Retrofit – Maintenance, Upgrades, Rework.

All of the tasks required to ensure that customer product meets the required specification can be carried out in-house or at the customer premises using equipment selected for the task to be undertaken.

Support – Consultancy.

The SMA team are available to help and guide our customers through the design of their products to ensure that the manufacturing process can be carried out as smoothly as possible. This important part of the design process will ensure that DFM & DFT are covered at this crucial stage.
